EAA Chapter 1298
Brooksville, Florida (KBKV)

Several of our members own aircraft, many of them are experimental. An experimental aircraft simply means that the aircraft wasn't made at a factory, rather it was built my an individual craftsman. Some of our members are in the process of building experimental aircraft.

This page is a "work in progress" because this website is reltively new and we haven't had an opportunity to snap too many pictures of our members' planes. We will add more to this page as the pictures and information become available.

Owner Narrative: N914BB was started on April 15 1998, receiving its airworthiness certificate on February 5th, 2003.

Being a first time builder, the project became a labor of love. Looking back on the project I learned much from the members of the EAA chapters I belonged to, Chapter 40 Van Nuys, Chapter 49 Lancaster, and especially Chapter 723.in Camarillo. The members of the chapters shared willingly and helped me achieve my goal. The Pulsar Builder's group, on the Internet was invaluable. They shared experience, ideas and encouragement.

N914BB, powered by a Rotax 914 Turbo first flew in February 2003, in the capable hands of Wallace Judd. Because of relocation to Florida, the plane crossed the country on a trailer. Under the tutelage of John Sondgeroth, a fellow Pulsar builder I finally achieved my dream and flew my plane in September 2003. The plane handles predictably, is fast and stable.

Thanks to everyone who supported me in a life long endeavor being achieved.
