About EAA Chapter 1298
EAA Chapter 1298 is based at Brooksville-Tampa Bay Regional Airport in Brooksville, Florida. The chapter exists to support aviation enthusiasm at the local level through friendship, hands-on learning, aircraft projects, chapter gatherings, and opportunities that connect members across generations.
The chapter identity is rooted in home built aircraft, experimental aviation, ultralights, workshop and hangar life, and community events that keep grass roots aviation active and visible.
Members include experienced aviators, builders, project-minded makers, volunteers, and people who are simply excited to learn more about aviation.
Regular monthly meetings
First Saturday of the month breakfast at 8:00 AM
followed by the general meeting at 9:00 AM
First Wednesday of the month our board meets.
The chapter aims to be modern, exciting, youth-friendly, and strongly connected to real local aviation life. It should feel approachable to new visitors while still delivering value to long-time members.
